Do you have a special picture you want to see artistically rendered? Maybe it's an old photo that is starting to look a little worn, or a favorite pet for whom you've always wished to create a custom portrait. Perhaps you want to create wedding invitations with the exact flower you chose for your bouquet, or a mother's day gift that reminds her of when you were young. Many people enjoy creating a custom Christmas card design to use on greeting cards and as perennial decorations. Anything is possible!
I generally create pictures in graphite and colored pencil, and I can create digital art originals that are print-friendly for logos and other items you might want to put on T-shirts, business cards, etc. Photo recreations are welcome, and I can also do "conglomerate" pictures - a combination of one or more photos, which are particularly useful for several busy children who do not always pose well together!
Portraits generally cost $50 - $75 unframed, depending on the subject matter. You may choose between 9" X 12" or 11" X 14" standard sizes. Larger custom art pieces can be created by request. For pictures containing more than 3 "faces", I will have to produce an estimate based on the original. It takes 4-6 weeks to finish a piece of custom art (this varies depending on the complexity of the picture - some portraits take as little as one week, other illustrations may take the whole 6 weeks).
Custom art pieces will not be mailed until payment is received. All custom art pieces are mailed in a mailing tube, and shipping costs are included in your total estimate. I don't generally frame custom art, but if you want it to be framed by me, your shipping costs will be adjusted accordingly and submitted to you before the piece is completed.
