This is Maude – she belongs to our veterinarian, who is an amazing doctor and an even more outstanding person. This was drawn as a small token of our appreciation for her services. I love the way the drawing goes from detailed and finished to slight rough and unfinished, allowing the viewer to think about the artistic process as well as the rendition of the subject.
